This is a great piece I must say, I used to think learning everything will bring .ore money but I later realized it's how you position yourself and sell your skills that actually brings more money.
Personally I also think why people fail to make money from their skills is because their mentors only taught them the art of business and left out the business of art.
My Question is, I'm a Hair therapist I proffer solutions to Natural hair queens and relaxed hair queens and mostly the way I earn is through consultation or Hair challenge but my question is how do I package the hair consultation to make it look professional
This should be the fourth time I am reading this piece; it blessed me so much that I really wanted to know how to structure my question.
Since I finished service last year, my plan was to earn nothing less than 3 million naira monthly to pursue my masters abroad, and I felt I could do that through social media marketing and forex trading. But one year down the line, I neither have the adequate funds and skill to trade confidently nor do I have a job in the social media marketing space.
These have just been my major worries. I have had little success here and there on Upwork and Fiverr but it hasn't brought any major fulfilment.
I started a group recently where I do a lot of financial literacy teaching to help young adults develop solid confidence with their money. I have even been invited to speak online by an international host, but still, I feel like I haven't gotten anywhere majorly because my goal of being a competent trader and a social media marketer hasn't brought anything to me yet.
I must say this is educative and interesting but then I have a question, I sell already made Footwears and as a student I get my stock from suppliers that agreed to give me at a wholesale price while I resell by adding my gain. My question is apart from running ads with your school TV and telling anybody who cares to listen that you sell footwears what other way should I grow my brand while in school.
"Before you jump on a new business that looks more lucrative. Ask the people winning big how long it took them to get there. You will find out that the timeline took months and years. You can’t wake up and win big in any sector overnight. It takes time and effort" and this "...The best way is to start by replicating the work of the masters. Find the top people in your field and follow them religiously."
The above has really helped my feeling like I am not good enough. It has helped bring to my remembrance that "Rome wasn't built in a day", and that I should celebrate my little wins - just like my "Dad", Sire Daniel Afiakurue has taught me. He taught me to appreciate myself even if my wins are little or not too visible, and to "let it go down that I have tried" when I don't seem to win at all.
Also, this piece has really encouraged me to continue to replicate the works of my masters, and to also get connected to those are are better than me in my field.
Thank you so much for this insightful piece especially the part about learning the art of the business.
I have a question.
I currently work in the Product description team for a company and to my surprise, I am actually very good at this.
The thing is, I want to apply for Product description roles in other companies and maybe on Upwork but I signed an NDA with this company I'm working for and can't use what I have already written as samples.
I know I am to write my own sample and all but I don't know how to create a content brief and it's really holding me back.
Awesome piece, I made the very huge mistake of not building brand while learning or working at EEDC. Now most of the milestones achieved are old news. Do I still post about them or talk about them online or do I forget the whole thing just like that?
Currently running an agency that does digital marketing, how do I share what am doing without breaching confidentiality?
Thank you so much for this, very in insightful..so my question for consultation is,how can I start earning as a new bee in data analysis, I'm still upscaling myself, but have not yet learnt all the tools needed,so how can I earn with the much I know now.thank you
Boss Ajulu. Thank you for this. This is insightful. I want to ask, how do i remain consistent even with the stress of my academic work? And how can I earn in foreign currency as a Brand Storyteller?

Good day, Sir Ajulu!
This should be the fourth time I am reading this piece; it blessed me so much that I really wanted to know how to structure my question.

Please, what can I do?

Thank you very much for this beautiful piece. I'm currently learning photography and I'll need all the pointers I you can give. Thanks again 😊
Great consultation in a form of an article (as always) Sir. Ajulu. in summary, learn/Build, Sell and Sell higher.
A key takeaway for me is "No one invests time and resources in you if you are inconsistent".
And as much as I have started putting myself "out there" like everybody says, this post has helped me understand better why it's important.
What really got me include this
"Before you jump on a new business that looks more lucrative. Ask the people winning big how long it took them to get there. You will find out that the timeline took months and years. Thank you a lot for this newsletter.
It gave me a very clear pointer.
My question though is this:
I am learning email copywriting.
I didn't want to wait for any client before I built an email list so I created a newsletter for myself to share my journey.
And I chose to build my personal brand on X/twitter
The only issue I have is how to grow on the platform.
Please any pointers ?

What do you advise I do?
